Being optimistic is an act of having a favorable view of events or conditions and to expect the most favorable outcome; demonstrating or reflecting a favorable view of events and conditions and the expectation of a positive outcome. Being pessimistic is the other way around. Being optimistic is good for you. Optimism is a key to success. It gives meaning to one’s life. Optimism lets a person gain confidence. It brings positive change to one’s mind so he can overcome his problems successfully.
An optimistic person is one who never gets discouraged by any state of affairs but sets his or her mind on positivity rather than negativity which in turn leads him or her to experience improvements. He is a person who knows for certain that whatever be the area of trouble there may be positive or alternative ways through which he can come out from various difficult situations courageously.
Being optimistic is to stay motivated and being motivated helps in achieving dynasty while overcoming negativity.

Enough researches have shown that positive emotions actually fuel creativity and enhance one’s reasoning skills thereby creating more successful results. Optimism promotes self confidence and boosts self esteem, ensures focus, promotes bonding between individuals, reduces the level of your frustrations and worries, promotes forgiveness and it also enhances effective communication.

People who are optimistic and confident believe that they can do anything they put their minds to. Hence to develop this type of mindset you must key to this. Also;

When you find yourself being negative or pessimistic pause for a while and gaze on the bright side.
