Burn out can happen to anyone, and it is fast becoming a common thing in the fast-paced society that we live in. It can consume confidence, hope, trust, marriage, job, friendship, etc. Even amid your busy day or a successful career, you may find yourself staring off in space.

Why burn out? Burn out can be an indication that it is time you moved on with your work or that you need to take time for yourself. Generally, anything that makes you lose interest in what you found enjoyable implies you are most likely experiencing burn out. Signs That You Are Burned Out

What To Do When You Are Burned Out
Are you feeling the burnt-out heat? Make sure you stop the fire before it stops you. If implemented. The following tips can help you reduce if not entirely eliminate any burnout you may be experiencing.
1. Have time for yourself every day. Even if it is just for 10 minutes, make sure you do something you enjoy – something that soothes and relaxes you. Whether it is to spend time with your family or just relax and read a book, you need to get away for some hours.
2. Set time limits on phone/email. You need to decide on the time to switch off your phones as well as when you will be checking your e-mails – not only when it is time to sleep. Have a day off: Choose one day as your day off and make it sacrosanct. Regardless of the temptation you get from clients, make sure you do not work at your job on this day. Ultimately, people will respect you more for appreciating yourself.
